2024 Total Solar Eclipse – Once in a Lifetime in Paoli, Indiana

2024, Total Solar Eclipse, Totality, Once in a Lifetime, Paoli, Indiana, Paoli Indiana, eclipse, solar eclipse

Previously, I had shared about the partial solar eclipse that I experienced with my dad and my cousin, and on Monday, I experienced the total solar eclipse with my mom and my cousin and family. My cousin invited me and mom to his backyard. The eclipse was a wondrous sight to behold! By experiencing the partial eclipse before, I knew that the skies would get darker and the air cooler, but in a total eclipse, it is a much cooler experience. You could see a star (or maybe it was a planet) when the moon covered the sun. Once it was in totality, you could take your solar glasses off and see the full eclipse with your bare eyes.

me and mom watching the solar eclipse

You could see that it was lighter farther over, like it was sunset where you were standing but a different color of lighting than just a cloud or sunset. It had the feeling of being on a different planet for those three and a half minutes.

My cousin’s wife has some goats, and we noticed that during the eclipse, the goats went into their barn because they thought it was night. The birds still sang. The dogs were inside the house so that they would not look up or run away, but you could tell they knew something was happening.

And when I tried taking pictures of the total eclipse, my phone’s camera just couldn’t do it justice. The camera could not pick up the beauty and majesty of the moment and most of the pictures that I see online do not compare to actually experiencing the eclipse. I can see where some people might want to become eclipse chasers. More information on future eclipses: https://science.nasa.gov/eclipses/future-eclipses/

During the eclipse, I thought about this quote:

The sun will burn your eyes out from a distance of 92 millions miles and do you expect to casually stroll into the presence of its maker?

Luke Walker

May we not get too familiar with God in a way that we become arrogant and think that we are too important in His presence. God is the One to be glorified for all the wondrous things He has done!

My Experience: Partial Eclipse in 2017

partial eclipse in 2017, partial eclipse, Paoli, Indiana, Orange County

On April 8, Orange County, Indiana, will be in the line of the totality for the 2024 solar eclipse, and our county and the counties around us are abuzz with planning for the eclipse. Schools and businesses are planning to be closed that day to avoid the potential traffic, shortages, and more that are forecasted to happen that day. Indiana State Police have been warning us to have full gas tanks and stay home or in one spot that day rather than trying to rush around.

Back on August 21, 2017, the town of Paoli, Indiana, was in the line of the partial solar eclipse. I got to experience that solar eclipse with my dad and cousin at the nursing home. Dad had had a surgery prior to that and was recuperating, but we did not want to leave him out of the fun.

My Dad and I with our 2017 eclipse glasses on.

The sun began to change forms as the moon moved in front of it. Here are the pictures I took with my cell phone by placing my eclipse glasses over the phone lens. I had to set the glasses just right over the lens to take the pictures, and I looked at my phone rather than at the sun. Then I looked at the sun using my eclipse glasses as well.

It only lasted a few minutes, but it was really neat to experience. The air got a little cooler, and it did get a little darker. It really makes you think that if there is this much excitement about an eclipse, how much more should our response be to Christ’s return?

Psalm 8

O Lord, our Lord,
How majestic is Your name in all the earth,
Who have displayed Your splendor above the heavens!
From the mouth of infants and nursing babies You have established strength
Because of Your adversaries,
To make the enemy and the revengeful cease.
When I consider Your heavens, the work of Your fingers,
The moon and the stars, which You have ordained;
What is man that You take thought of him,
And the son of man that You care for him?
Yet You have made him a little lower than God,
And You crown him with glory and majesty!
You make him to rule over the works of Your hands;
You have put all things under his feet,
All sheep and oxen,
And also the beasts of the field,
The birds of the heavens and the first of the sea,
Whatever passes through the paths of the seas.
O Lord, our Lord,
How majestic is Your name in all the earth!

Psalm 8 NASB

In this letter written in December, Midkenson writes that he bought a goat with the gift I sent. He plans to use the goat to breed more goats to grow his family’s business. His cousin helped him write the letter, and she says that he is always happy to hear from me and that he is always talking about me to his family and his friends.

He drew me this picture that says Midkenson and love bebe.

Why Vacation Bible School Is So Important

Why Vacation Bible School is So Important, decorative

Every summer from May – July, churches everywhere select a week to give their all to teaching children about Jesus is a hyper, focused environment called Vacation Bible School. Many adults feel that it is a long, tiring week, and it is … to an extent. However, it is so rewarding, and when I think about the impact it could have on generations to come for the glory of God, I get re-energized. Vacation Bible School is a very important week for churches and for children because it is a time where children can get to know who Jesus is outside of hearing about Him as a curse word. Vacation Bible School is a time where children can reunite with their friends outside of school at their local church, have a meal or at least a snack, sing songs about Jesus, play games, and hear the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Benefits of VBS

  • Fellowship for children
  • Children hearing the Gospel of Jesus Christ
  • Church serving the community
  • Children getting food (meals or snack)
  • Children getting to hear and sing songs about Jesus
  • Children getting to invite their friends to VBS and learning how to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with others.
  • Children getting to play games, make crafts, do science experiments, and all kinds of other fun.
  • Impacting the current generation and generations to come for Christ’s glory
  • Children getting to hear that Someone loves them
  • Children getting to get out of their home, which may or may not be a hostile abusive environment in some cases.
  • Church opening their doors to the public
  • Church fulfilling the Great Commission.

By the way, here is a shameless plug for my church’s Vacation Bible School! First Baptist Church Paoli (Indiana) is hosting their Vacation Bible School on Monday, June 3, 2024 – Friday, June 7, 2024 from 6:00 pm EST to 8:00 pm EST. This is for children and teens. We are providing a full dinner. This event is free. The theme is the Great Jungle Journey, which is a VBS created by Answers in Genesis. If you and your family is near Paoli and you would like to join us that week, please do!

Church History: Fanny Crosby

To get inspiration and wisdom, we can look back and learn from the past. Therefore, we are going through a series of articles where we will look back at historical people who have played a part in church history. I plan to share resources for learning more about these historical figures as well as an encouraging quote and what we can model after them.

Our next historical person to look at and learn from in this series is Fanny Crosby, a hymn writer that was blind. For more information on the woman who wrote “between 5,500 and 9,000 hymns” (according to Brittanica), see these resources:

Websites with Information about Fanny Crosby:

Take the world, but give me Jesus;
In His cross my trust shall be,
Till, with clearer, brighter vision
Face to face my Lord I see.

Fanny Crosby

Books

  • Fanny Crosby: The Blind Girl’s Song by Lucille Travis
  • Fanny Crosby: An Autobiography by Fanny Crosby
  • Her Heart Can See by Edith L. Blumhofer
  • Fanny Crosby: Queen of Gospel Songs by Rebecca Davis
  • This is My Story This is My Song by Fanny Crosby
  • Fanny Crosby: The Hymn Writer by Bernard Ruffin
  • Fanny Crosby by Bonnie C. Harvey
  • Fanny Crosby: Writer of 8,000 Songs by Sandy Dengler

“God will answer you prayers better than you think. Of course, one will not always get exactly what he has asked for….We all have sorrows and disappointments, but one must never forget that, if commended to God, they will issue in good….His own solution is far better than any we could conceive.”

Fanny J. Crosby

Why should we learn from Fanny Crosby’s life? She was a great example of praising the Lord even when she could not see. We should want to praise God even during trials and when things do not go our way because He is working all things for our good and His glory.

Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or danger, or sword? As it is written, “For your sake we are being killed all the day long;
we are regarded as sheep to be slaughtered.” No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Romans 8:35-39 ESV

Therefore, we can trust God, knowing that He is Sovereign over all things, and we can praise Him because He is worthy of our praise. It may feel difficult in the moment, but worshipping and praising God even when it hurts can build our faith. Are you struggling to praise Him? Think about everything He has already done for you. He has given you life today. Praise Him for it!

G3 Conference 2023

G3 Conference, decorative

Last September, my cousin Stephen (who is also my pastor) and I were fortunate enough to go to the G3 Conference in Atlanta. I almost thought I would not get to go on the trip due to work; however, my boss let me off for the trip. I enjoyed the conference and traveling very much – listening to their pastors and theologians speak, see a lot of people that I normally only view on X.com, Facebook, or Instagram, spend time with my cousin, and shop the book store.

We flew in to the Atlanta Airport, which is massive and very busy. We got our luggage, walked to the tram that would take us to the rental cars, and then drove our rental car to our hotel. We stayed at the Hotel Indigo Atlanta Airport in College Park, which had a fence around it for safety. The staff there were very kind. They had breakfast in the mornings and a small selection of snacks to purchase during the day. My room had a walk in shower, a comfy chair and table, a comfy bed, and a tv. They also had free wifi.

Wednesday, September 20, 2023

The G3 Conference theme was the Sovereignty of God. We ate at Ruby Tuesday’s, and then we decided to go register at the Georgia International Convention Center on Thursday during the pre-conference. While we were there, Dr. James White was speaking. At each of the sessions we typically sat at the back of the room where people were not hogging the chairs (saving the chairs for their friends). G3 gave away some really nice Legacy Standard Bibles. We also tried checking out the bookstore, but they were not open at that point. Stephen met Chocolate Knox from CrossPolitic too, which was cool.

Jesus is King of Kings and Lord of Lords. The government is under His Kingship. The Church has a role in speaking to the government.

Dr. James White

Dr. James White referenced Psalm 2, Psalm 110, and Acts 17 and urged the pastors and churches at the conference to “build toward the future for His glory” and “build a foundation for the next generation.”

For dinner, we ate at Manchester Arms, which is a British pub in the College Park neighborhood. The food was really good, and I definitely recommend it! It had a great atmosphere. We also found John Calvin Avenue while we were driving to the restaurant.

The next day was when the rest of the conference started. Josh Buice opened the conference with talking about how God cannot be manipulated.

Our God is a God who can’t be treated as a puppet on a string. He is Sovereign – over our salvation.

Josh Buice

Josh Buice called the Church to faithfulness and not to allow fear and anxiety to overcome them, and remembering God’s Sovereignty can help overcome our fears and anxiety.

Owen Strachan was up next, and he discussed the spiritual warfare that we are in, and the believer needs to strengthen their focus on God’s love for them to grow their faith.

The less secure you are in your faith on the love of God, the less stable your life will be. The more you know you’re loved the more secure you are and the more joy you can live.

Owen Strachan

Owen also encouraged the Church to “pray big because God is not getting smaller.”

After that, I tried getting into a breakout session, but those rooms were packed. Therefore, I was in the group that watched Just Thinking Live, where they were talking about race and how the Gospel changes your heart to understand that, “Wokeness is about envy. Social justice is another term of envy. … Race is a social construct; it’s not Biblically correct.” They referenced Acts 17:26.

Just Thinking Live at G3 Conference 2023

We went out for lunch and also watched the Live Show when they were interviewing Phil Johnson.

G3 Conference 2023 Live Show interviewing Phil Johnson

After that I watched the G3 Church Network Panel, which talked about the importance of being a member of the local church. The panel agreed that, “The local church will determine the directory of your whole life.”

G3 Conference 2023 - G3 Network Panel

That evening, Dr. Steven Lawson preached with power referencing Psalms 93-99, 103, 115, 135, and 33 as well as Isaiah 6 and Revelation 4. Besides Dr. James White, Steven Lawson was probably my favorite preacher and theologian to hear at G3. His preaching that night was on point; he was telling the audience the glory and sovereignty of God.

There is no room for any other king. He dwarfs any other rule.

Friday, September 22, 2023

On Friday at the conference, Pastor James Coates taught on the Sovereignty of God in Election (Salvation). He referenced Romans 9 and 11 as he talked about God loving Jacob and rejecting Esau.

If you reject God’s sovereignty in election you are rejecting His essence and the full manifestation of His glory.

Pastor James Coates

Next up was Dr. James White, who talked about God’s eternality. He referenced Romans 8 and 9, Isaiah 40-49, and 1 Corinthians 6.

My God did not create a universe where there is random meaningless evil. All of it will resound to the praise of His glorious grace. God has sovereignly decreed His glory in all that He has done.

Dr. James White

The final sermon we were able to hear was Voddie Baucham; his sermon title was The Sovereignty of God and the Sanctity of Marriage. Voddie referenced Genesis 1:26-31, 2:18-25, 3, Romans 1, and Romans 5.

Voddie Baucham preaching at G3 Conference 2023.

The slippery slope starts with ‘there is no God’, which is rooted and grounded in not acknowledging God. When arguing against sin, you much use Scripture because the root is that they refuse to believe in Him. That’s the last stop – we know it’s wrong but we give approval. The answer is the Gospel. We don’t just want people to stop doing what they’re doing. We want them to become righteous by faith. … Christ is Lord over all. Our God doesn’t deal in half measures. We must live like we’re pushing forward in our day and time.

Voddie Baucham

When Voddie was finished preaching, he was selling and signing books. So Stephen and I went to get his book; it is still on my desk waiting to be read with all the other books I have yet to read. In God’s sovereign providence, after getting the book signed by Voddie, we left to go get dinner (McDonald’s). Right before the showing of the Essential Church movie, there was a bomb threat and they had to evacuate the conference. Thankfully, no one was hurt, and they found the one who made the bomb threat. G3 Conference 2023 in Atlanta was a great time, and I cannot wait for the next one.

Fruit of the Spirit series: Kindness

fruit of the spirit, fruit, kindness, sarahbderinger.wordpress.com

We are looking at the Fruit of the Spirit in this series, and recently we looked at the fruit of peace, and now we are going to learn about the fruit of Kindness. The Holy Spirit is the One who develops the fruits of the Spirit in us, and we cannot produce this on our own. We rely fully on Him for this to grow, but we can add this through obedience to Christ (not a working for our salvation but from our salvation). The full list of the fruit of the Spirit is found in Scripture:

“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law.”

GALATIANS 5:22-23 (NASB)

Gospel Kindness

This time, we will look at how the Holy Spirit develops kindness in us and in our lives. We must believe in the Gospel of Jesus Christ to have kindness begin growing in our lives.

God so loved the world in this one particular way – He sent His Son Jesus to live a sinless life on earth, to die on the cross taking the punishment for sin (also called substitutionary atonement) and paying the debt we incurred when we sinned. By believing in Christ for salvation and repenting of our sins (agreeing with God that sin is sin), we are then able to have the hope of eternal life with God through Christ Jesus. This is the ONLY way; there is no other.

John 3:16-17; Romans 3:23-25; Romans 5:8; Romans 10:9-10; 1 Corinthians 15:3-4; 2 Corinthians 5:21; 1 Timothy 1:15; 1 Timothy 2:5-6; 1 Peter 2:24-25; 1 Peter 3:18

Then, when we believe in Christ for salvation, we are granted the Holy Spirit and are sealed with Him. This is when the transformation (or sanctification) begins, where the Holy Spirit begins to make us more and more like Christ everyday. Through that process, He produces His fruit in our lives (love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control). The process involves: reading the Bible, prayer, being active in a local church that preaches sound doctrine, living in such a way that glorifies Christ, repenting each day as we sin yet again and fighting against that sin, and doing the good deeds that God has prepared for us (see Romans 8).

Kindness

What is kindness, and how do we have more of it in our lives? The world has a counterfeit kindness of being “nice.” It is the kind of “nice” that has no boundaries, no courage to stand up for what is right, and is all about “loving” your neighbor with no truth. The world’s counterfeit kindness has its focus on being accepting of everyone no matter what, rather than understanding that the Gospel is exclusive. God makes it very clear in His word that there are some things He does not tolerate:

And just as they did not see fit [u]to acknowledge God any longer, God gave them over to a depraved mind, to do those things which are not proper, 29 being filled with all unrighteousness, wickedness, greed, evil; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, malice; they are gossips, 30 slanderers, [v]haters of God, insolent, arrogant, boastful, inventors of evil, disobedient to parents, 31 without understanding, untrustworthy, unloving, unmerciful; 32 and although they know the ordinance of God, that those who practice such things are worthy of death, they not only do the same, but also give hearty approval to those who practice them.

Romans 1:28-32

By choosing only to accept everyone and not tell them the truth of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, we are not being kind. Biblical kindness, the fruit of the Spirit, is an active love for God and neighbor that is both loving and truthful. Kindness seeks out ways that you can help others, and not only serve yourself. Kindness chooses to put others before yourself. Kindness defers to the other person. This kindness is something that you can do even in the most difficult of circumstances. True kindness is showing Christ’s love for the people around you.

Biblical Example of Kindness

A Biblical example of kindness can be found in Boaz when he continued giving to Ruth, the Moabitess. Ruth had followed her mother-in-law Naomi back to Bethlehem after her husband, brother-in-law, and father-in-law died in Moab. Ruth went to harvest in the fields and happened across Boaz’s field. Boaz protected Ruth, gave her extra food, and then redeemed her for his wife (See the book of Ruth). Boaz was a foreshadowing of Jesus, who lavishes His grace and mercy on believers. And while God may not be calling you to marry whomever you are called to show kindness to, there are plenty of opportunities to bring aid and kindness to the vulnerable around you.

As we go through these next few weeks of delving into what the Fruit of the Spirit is in our lives as believers, reflect on how you can grow more in the Fruit of the Spirit. Yes, the Holy Spirit is ultimately the one who grows the fruit in you and me, but you and I have a responsibility to meditate (fill our minds with, not empty our minds) on God’s Word on what kindness and each fruit of the Spirit is. What is one way that you and I can show the kindness of Christ this week?

Ark Encounter

the Ark, wooden replica of the ark, Noah's ark, photo-opportunity in front of the Ark Encounter, title image, featured image

Ark Encounter is a family-friendly, Biblical theme park in Williamstown, Kentucky. The Ark is a full-sized replica of the ark that Noah built when God told him about the coming flood (Genesis 6-9). My mom and I visited it back in November 2021, and it has grown since then by adding a carousel. Kids ages 10 and under get free admission into the park, and there are plenty of things for kids to do. There is a zoo, where you can see some cool animals and walk through a couple of animal enclosures to get closer to the animals. There is a Rainbow garden symbolizing the rainbow that God put in the sky for the Noahic covenant to show He would not destroy the world by flood again (Genesis 9). One of the special features of the entire park is that it is handicap accessible, so if you have anyone in a wheelchair or any older loved ones who want to go but are not up for walking a lot, there is a way for them to enjoy the entire experience.

To go through the Ark Encounter:

  • Purchase your tickets online.
  • Once in the parking lot, walk to the bus station and board a bus that will take you to the entrance.
  • Enter the Answers Center, which is at the bus drop-off area. Here, there is auditorium, breakout rooms, a lab, and a gift shop.
  • Next, make your way to the Ark which is a walk around a pond. On the way is the new carousel which was not completed when we were there, a few food options at Noah’s Village, a playground, a virtual reality experience, and lots of other activities.
  • The Ark has a big ramp to the entrance, and there are three levels in addition to the ground level. And on each level, there are restrooms. There is also a gift shop on the ground level of the Ark, which we went through at the end of our trip.
  • Learn about the building of the ark, the many animals that were on the ark, Noah’s family, and so much more while you are there. Also, see how the story of Noah was a foreshadowing of the rescue mission Christ accomplished for believers.
  • Walk through the Ararat Ridge Zoo and see lots of animals.
A sign showing the distance between the mid-point of the Ark and the bow of the Ark is a little longer than a standard Boeing 747-400 jet airliner.

I really enjoyed the Gospel presentation that happens at the Ark Encounter because it is rare to find a theme park that shares the Gospel like the Ark Encounter does.

Sarah Deringer, standing in front of the ark doors that has the cross on it.

Ark Encounter is a great place to take your family to point them to Christ and help them learn that the Bible is true. It is always exciting to see how big the Ark is in real life; it is huge! Also, I found a beautiful nativity Christmas ornament for my Christmas tree and a good children’s book on Noah’s ark in the gift shop. Plan on stopping in the gift shop, and expect long lines there. It is worth it though!

Ways to Share the Gospel

Ways to share the Gospel, Cross, sarahbderinger.wordpress.com, decorative title picture

When Christ gave the Church the Great Commission, He gave it as a command to be obeyed, not as a suggestion. Therefore, we need to be about our Savior’s work, which is sharing and proclaiming the Gospel to the nations. But how can we do that? How can we share the Gospel with others?

Know the Gospel

First, we have to know the Gospel in order to share it.

(You can see John 3:16-17; Romans 3:23-25; Romans 5:8; Romans 10:9-10; 1 Corinthians 15:3-4; 2 Corinthians 5:21; 1 Timothy 1:15; 1 Timothy 2:5-6; 1 Peter 2:24-25; 1 Peter 3:18). Christ is coming back, and without His righteousness on you, you are doomed. He is offering terms – just one term: Turn to Christ and repent of your sins, and live. Jesus is your only hope.

John 3:16-17; Romans 3:23-25; Romans 5:8; Romans 10:9-10; 1 Corinthians 15:3-4; 2 Corinthians 5:21; 1 Timothy 1:15; 1 Timothy 2:5-6; 1 Peter 2:24-25; 1 Peter 3:18

Talk to Your Family

Your family, especially your family in your household that live with you and see you everyday, is the closest people to you that need to hear the Gospel. And because you see them everyday, these are the people that will see the changes in your life through the Holy Spirit. Do not just assume that your family knows the Gospel; have Gospel conversations with them. You can start the conversations by asking:

  • What do you believe about Jesus?
  • How do you know you are saved?
  • What are you studying in the Bible these days?
  • Would you like to go to church with me?
  • What is your only hope in life and death?

You can also have Gospel conversations with your family by using New City Catechisms as well as the Nicene Creed and the Apostle’s Creed. Read the Bible together as a family, and if you need more resources on sharing the Gospel with your family, I have previously written about the topic.

Talk to Your Neighbor

Your neighbor down the street needs Jesus just as much as your family members. When gathering together as a community or a neighborhood, have the Gospel conversations with the people around you. While you are sharing the Gospel with them, help them – bake some food for them or meet a need of theirs. You can start Gospel conversations by asking:

  • What do you believe about Jesus?
  • What is the most important thing in your life, and how is that going for you?
  • Would you like to go to church with me?
  • What brings you joy in life?
  • Would you like to read and study the Bible with me?

You can ask them to read the Bible with you one-on-one; you can invite them to a small group. You can invite them to church. You can invite the family down the street to Vacation Bible School.

“Evangelism is just one beggar telling another beggar where to find bread.”

Talk to Your Friends

You would not want your best friend to keep secrets from you, and you should not keep the Gospel of Jesus Christ a secret from your friends either. Every chance you get, have Gospel conversations with your friends about Jesus:

  • What do you believe about Jesus?
  • Would you like to come to church with me?
  • Would you like to come join this small group with me?
  • Would you want to read the Bible together with me?
  • What do you consider to be your hope?
  • What brings you the most joy?
  • What gets you the most excited?

Tell them about the King you serve that took His holy righteousness and covered your unholiness.

Take the Gospel to the World

Just like Jesus told the Church to take the Gospel to the world, we should be looking for ways to share the Gospel with the world and take it to the ends of the earth. Do you have a way to influence others around the world? For example, do you have a blog or social media? You can write about your faith in Jesus. Do you know of missionaries overseas? You can support them by praying for them, writing letters of encouragement, or sending them funding and resources. Do you feel God’s call to be a missionary? Obey Him. Live out your calling by His power and strength.

  • Do you feel like you have been slow to share the Gospel lately?
  • How can you share the Gospel with others today?
  • How can you encourage others in their evangelism?
  • How can you encourage others in their walk with Christ?

Introducing Anais

When Edith graduated from the Compassion International program, Mom and I were given a new girl to sponsor. Anais is our new sponsored child from Ecuador, who lives with her mom and dad. Anais is 17 years old. Her dad is regularly employed as a transportation driver. Anais helps out around her home by working in the kitchen. Typical homes where Anais lives are made of cement and blocks. Anais attends church, where she enjoys learning about God and participating in dancing and / or drama programs.

If you look closely at Anais’ picture, you will see that she is wearing a University of Louisville Cards shirt, which I find ironic since that is a school in Kentucky (albeit a rival school to the University of Kentucky in sports). Mom and I look forward to getting to know her.

  • Do you have a sponsored child?
  • Is the sponsorship through Compassion International or another program?
  • Have you ever been to Ecuador?
  • Do you have any prayer requests?

Sponsor a child

Please consider sponsoring a child through Compassion InternationalHaiti Outreach Ministries, or Eden Ministries. By sponsoring a child through any of these organizations, you will help a child and their family. They will receive an education, food, clothing, health care, shelter, and the opportunity to hear the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
