Great Resources for Discipling Children (Part 2: Ages 10 – 14)

Great Resources for Discipling Children, middle school, middle grade, disciple, resources, teaching, Gospel, parenting, biblical parenting, Bible, God, Jesus, Jesus Christ, church, family

It is discouraging to hear that according to LifeWay Research, 70% of teens who had attended church for at least one year of high school leave the church after high school. This is a judgment on our church’s discipleship of the youth. Instead of only providing games and entertainment to children and youth, they need true Biblical discipleship with deep theological truths. They need preparation for the arguments that they will hear in college and their adult lives, rather than a prolonging of immaturity in faith. Therefore, I am sharing resources for discipling children and youth in a series. This is the second part of the series, with a focus on ages 10 – 14 or the middle school years.

I have found these resources as I scroll through Twitter, Facebook, and Amazon. Most of these resources can be found on Facebook or Amazon, and some of them are also available on ChristianBook.com and other book sellers.

I always love hearing from my readers, so feel free to comment on this post. What resources do you recommend for discipling children ages 10-14? Have you heard of any of the resources listed? What is the most difficult part of discipling children in your opinion?
